Product Description
The HAZMATCAD utilizes Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) technology to detect and classify trace amounts of Chemical Warfare Agents, including Nerve and Blister agents. For maximum flexibility, the HAZMATCAD can also be configured to detect Phosgene or Hydrogen Cyanide.

The HAZMATCAD Plus detects both Chemical Warfare Agents and selected Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TICs). Combining proven SAW technology with electrochemical sensors, the HAZMATCAD provides simultaneous detection of Nerve and Blister agents, Hydrogen Cyanide, Phosgene, Hydride and Halogen gases for a total of 6 discrete threat-detection capabilities.

Both units are ruggedly constructed, compact and lightweight. They are also extremely easy to use, requiring no prior training. A single key press begins automatic sampling and analysis.
The HAZMATCAD and HAZMATCAD Plus also feature:

Combines all of the exceptional features of the proven Orion® Multigas Detector with IR sensor options for Hydrocarbons or CO2 for the toughest monitoring requirements. Clear and intuitive, the detector offers standard data logging, internal pump and rechargeable NiMH or disposable alkaline battery packs, plus easy, ergonomic one-hand operation and a compact, robust design. MSA’s 20L catalytic combustion sensors are "best in class" silicon-resistant and will reliably detect up to 100% LEL. Available toxic sensors include ammonia, chlorine and many other choices to suit virtually all applications. Simply choose your IR sensor, add two toxic sensors and finish your unit with an oxygen and an LEL sensor.

Product Information

MSA’s new ALTAIR 4 Multigas Detector for LEL, CO, H2S, and O2 raises the standard for personal multigas detectors by offering a combination of features you won’t find in competitive models.

The ALTAIR 4 Multigas Detector is the only portable gas detector with an optional MotionAlert™ feature if a user should become disabled due to unforeseen hazards. When enabled, the MotionAlert feature will activate if the instrument does not detect motion for 30 seconds, and is ideal for confined space entry applications. This unique gas detector function can be deactivated by the user. This unit's InstantAlert feature also allows users to manually alert others to a potentially hazardous situation. The ALTAIR 4 Multigas Detector is as tough and functional as it looks, offering distinctly ribbed rubber housing for secure grip and unsurpassed durability. A high-contrast display and three large, rubberized buttons enable easy operation in low-light conditions.

The rubber over-molded housing is easy to grip, provides unsurpassed durability, is rated IP67 against dust and water ingress, and passes a 10+ foot drop test. This unit is equipped with a 95+ dB audible alarm and ultra-bright alarm LEDs on both its top and bottom for maximum visibility. Vibrating alarm and data logging are standard features in this very competitively-priced unit. MSA’s ALTAIR 4 Multigas Detector is Galaxy® Systemcompatible for calibration and record keeping; a QuickCheck™ Test Station for fast, easy bump testing is also available. Data logging is a standard feature; the ALTAIR 4 Multigas Detector is MSA Link™ Software-ready.

Product Information

The Solaris Multigas Detector is an economical, 4-gas instrument providing simultaneous detection of CO, O2, H2S and combustible gas. It weighs less than 8 ounces, and has an IP 6/5 rating against liquid and dust ingress. The Solaris Multigas Detector is powered with a rechargeable lithium ion battery that offers 14+ hours of continuous run time and fully recharges in less than 4 hours. Calibration is intuitive and is accomplished with the push of a single button. This auto calibration feature greatly simplifies calibration and reduces training needs. Other features include a world-class alarm system, an optional sampling pump and a 2-year all-inclusive warranty.
